Training with DIS means membership in the International Choreographers Association (ICA) which is an Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) Dance division club.  We believe partnering with AAU assists us in ensuring dance is not only recognized as a sport but treated as one.

Together the Showmanship Dance Class and the DIS/ICA Membership offers artists the opportunity to receive the training needed to present their work and be challenged through healthy engagement with others who are building their craft for global engagement (healthy competition).

At DIS we pride ourselves on requiring artists to be themselves.  This means every artist is not the same, therefore not all seek to be in the limelight.  Our classes are designed to preserve, as much as possible, the enjoyment of art in a community without the need for mass exposure.
